Toshio Hayakawa: CEO/CTO
About Toshio Hayakawa
His business career started when he was ten years old by working for a small vegetable store in his hometown.
He learned the basic skills of how to sell by taking orders, delivering and collecting cash. His engineering training started around the same time.
During that period, he assembled a transistor based radio kit. However, his inspiration to be an electrical engineer or a scientist began when
he saw telex-papers in a trashcan near his house when he was six years old. Since then, his life consisted of business and engineering careers
and it has never changed since. Before he came to America, he worked for an aircraftfs parts company in Japan, which was during
the Vietnam War time, where he met several US engineers who recommended him to study aircraft engineering in USA. He was accepted
into Columbia University in 1970 after he passed the entrance exam that he took at the Yokota Air Base and graduated with an electronic
engineering degree from UCLA in 1979. He worked for many electronics companies in order to earn tuitions while he was attending UCLA.
He also invented many devices and holds many patents for them. One of his best inventions was the "High Power Transistor Characteristic
Curve Analysis and Comparison Device". With this patent, the power supply manufacture company, he worked for, won major US Air Force
contracts. In 982, he started his own IT Company with $5,000 and exited with the value of six million dollars in 1996. During that period,
he developed distribution, full accounting and material resource, and planning (M.R.P.) software run on the network technology developed
by him using IBM PC running DOS O/S and plug-in boards. Many customers bought his network systems with the software to replace
IBM Sys 36 Systems. At later time, he also developed software that could access all IP based printers that run on at the Internet and
the Intranet networks.
